A large, generously sized coffee mug, featuring our most popular pattern, the Blue Wren. This active, delightful, tiny bird (his proper name is the Superb Fairy-Wren) is a great favourite in his native Australia, beloved of all who are lucky enough to have him flitting about in their gardens (like us). His bold, inquisitive disposition, colourful plumage and lovely trilling song make him a very welcome neighbour. Everyone loves this cheeky, bright little fellow.

As well as a bright cobalt blue on the Blue Wren, this mug also features a beautiful pale mint glaze on its rim and handle. Our potter has finished this mug off with a distinctive tail-like handle, designed to feel comfortable in the hand.

Our distinctive look is achieved by only glazing the design, rim and handle of this piece, providing a dramatic contrast to the natural "sandstone" colour of our local clay. The inside of the mug is fully glazed with a clear glaze.
