The design is a coiled Celtic dragon, hand engraved and hand painted with dark red and goldlustre glazes, very dramatic against the creamy earthenware tone of the clay. Perfect for anyone who loves Medieval-inspired work, Celtic inspired work or Dragons! Our potter has finished this mug off with a distinctive tail-like handle, designed to feel comfortable in the hand. Our distinctive look is achieved by only glazing the design, rim and handle of this piece, providing a dramatic contrast to the natural "sandstone" colour of our local clay. The inside of the mug is fully glazed with a clear glaze.
