Dimensions:
21 cm high
14 cm wide

This traditional style terracotta utensil holder is the perfect size to keep your wooden spoons, tongs, whisks, spatulas, ladles etc all in one handy place near the stove, and it looks great, too! The front has been decorated with a dramatic red and goldlustre fire-breathing Celtic Dragon, with a coiled and knotted tail and veined red wings. The rim has been glazed in matching goldlustre.

Our distinctive look is achieved by only glazing the design and rim of this piece, providing a dramatic contrast to the natural terracotta colour of the clay. The inside of the utensil holder is fully glazed with a clear glaze, so it can also be used as a vase if desired.

We ship to most countries, please ask us for a quote. We take extra special care with padding and boxing to make sure the piece will be amply protected.

We usually have a variety of utensil holders available with different designs and colour schemes on both terracotta and white clay (eg Blue Wren, Waratah, Gecko) so feel free to contact us if you would like to know what else we have on the shelves, or to order something in particular. Enquiries are welcome.

Bird Watching tours

Blue Wrens at Barkala , the leading theme in our Pottery

Barkala Farm and the adjoining Nature Reserve are home to over 120 bird species, many of which can be heard (and seen) early in the morning or as the sun cools. In mild weather, the birds will be active all day. Morning walkers will generally be accompanied by a mixture of common and more unusual species.
