The Pottery

Pilliga Pottery IS Australia's most famous Bush Pottery

Visitors are more than welcome at our extensive studio workshop, gallery shop and cafe, which is situated north of Coonabarabran, in North Western NSW.
We have a huge selection of earthen ware pottery in stock, all made on the property, each item individually decorated and in every price range.
The beautiful woodlands of the Pilliga surrounding us inspire our work, which ranges from garden pottery to beautifully designed kitchenware and decorative pottery of every shape and size. Using a local resources, we make our own cream colored and traditional terracotta clays, which we form into lovely shapes on the potter's wheel and then decorate using our own unique and distinctive methods. Every item in our shop is handmade on site.
Visitors are always welcome to watch us working, sit down and relax in or in front of our ' Blue Wren Cafe' for a delicious Cappuchino, some home made scones or a light savoury snack. On request we can even fire up the wood fired Pizza oven.
